First they came for the tilde ~
No great loss you may say
Next the semi-colon went the tilde's way;
Tomorrow it's the turn of the apostrophe;
Its simple rules too much for modern folk;
We are allowed to use the non-Oxford comma,
And the full stop... but only once;
As for moods the subjunctive is verboten;
Lest one be thought superior ~
The bell tolls for whom
